"CAN'T SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH"
We owned a little old house on a premium lot with full city views. We searched for a couple of years to find something to replace it but found nothing that suited our tastes. We approached several architects and builders but none really understood what we wanted. Alloy was the first team that really listened to us and understood our philosophy.
Our design basis was a modern interpretation of our old house, keeping the original cottage feel but to capitalize on the views while working around the constraints of our property. One of the design themes was to make a "blue-jeans" house - something that ages and gets more comfortable with use.
Despite our friends' warnings about the pitfalls of building, we had an amazing experience with Alloy and have recommended them to others. The design and construction went smoothly, the team was amazing and we ended up with a house that we only dreamed of. Our house is unique and understated and does not have the "look of the moment" that is pervasive in many new builds. This house should age like a pair of favourite jeans.
We can't speak highly enough about Alloy. Chris, Mace, Julia and Wayne all brought different strengths to the team with professionalism and integrity. We would highly recommend them.

"Alloy Homes designed and built our new home. In our project, we knocked down a bungalow and reused the foundation for the new 2-level home. Alloy's design was brilliant and amazingly, we accepted the first draft of the drawings without any layout changes. It was exactly what we were looking for and we were astounded that Alloy could develop those plans after one interview with us where we discussed the needs of our family.
Alloy had given us a timeline of 8-12 months for the completion of our project and we were done in 8 1/2 months. Just in time for Christmas! The Project Manager was extremely helpful in terms of making suggestions for things that might work in certain situations or design features that enhanced or home. All of the tradespeople that we worked with were very professional and you could tell that they truly had a passion for their work.

"The Alloy team was wonderful to work with! After considering numerous other builders and architects, we hired them with the confidence that they could build us a house that was welcoming, had abundant light, and worked for our active family.
