Devonian Ridge - In Progress

We designed this highly customized luxury home to address a number of unique edge conditions. It exists at the intersection of forest, grassland, deep valley and expansive prairie. The home site is accessible only via a narrow winding causeway across a steep, thickly wooded ravine. An expansive south-facing motor court creates a welcoming entry condition on the far side of the ravine. Expansive glazing offers glimpses through the home to the forest beyond. Inside, the kitchen, dining and living rooms form a perpendicular axis that's anchored in the flatland to the east and soars out into the forest canopy to the west. Finally, there's a secret treehouse across the ravine, accessible via bridge from the walkout basement. We're currently under construction with completion scheduled for 2027.
