OPTION 1 - OUR TURNKEY DESIGN/BUILD PROCESS
If you're just embarking upon the journey towards a new custom home or renovation, our comprehensive turnkey design/build process offers synergies you won't find anywhere else. It's designed to help us focus upon what’s most important to you and your family. First, we listen. Then we create. Everything unfolds within a framework that you’ll understand in advance so you know just what to expect next.
Initial Meeting
Before we start we'll make sure that we understand what's important to you - location, budget, features, design details, lifestyle - all of the factors that will ultimately make the project a success for your family. We'll review our processes and systems, take you on a tour of our work, and introduce you to our team.
Finding Land
Acquiring the perfect property is the first and most fundamental design decision that you'll make. We keep tabs on available land in prime locations, often before it becomes available to the general public. We'll evaluate every property with consideration for the ultimate design of the home that's to be built upon it. We'll also help you uncover any hidden costs or obstacles to redevelopment so you can make an informed decision. Should you require assistance with selling your existing home, we can either help you directly or refer you to a professional Realtor who specializes in your community.
Design
Great design is at the heart of what we do. We offer comprehensive design services to ensure that your home is a unique expression of your tastes and lifestyle. Our interior design team will work with you to create a bespoke interiors package, and and they'll be your personal guides as you proceed with the specification of materials, fixtures and finishes.
Obtaining Permits
Throughout the design and construction processes, we'll act as your representative in all dealings with community groups, municipalities and/or developers' design committees. We'll also take care of any permit applications that may be required.
Construction
During construction, we will keep you informed as work progresses so that the project can benefit from your involvement and you can be satisfied with the progress.Before we turn the home over to you, we'll conduct a thorough quality- control evaluation to ensure that everything is as you'd expect it. If there are any outstanding items at this point, we'll take care of them quickly and courteously.
Post-Occupancy
Once you're comfortably settled in your new home, our service department will help you keep it in top condition. For your added peace of mind, Alloy Homes is a member in good standing of BILD Alberta and the National Home Warranty Program.
Your home is a long-term investment, and we'll be here to ensure your ongoing satisfaction. Of course we offer a comprehensive warranty on all that we do, but we're also available to help with anything else that you might require. Over the years we've responded to a diverse range of requests for assistance - everything from helping with new furniture to rescuing an owner's kitten! It is our greatest achievement when our clients become our friends.
OPTION 2 - WORKING WITH OUTSIDE DESIGN PROFESSIONALS
Some of our clients come to us having already established a relationship with an Architect or Interior Designer, and that's just fine with us. We're uniquely capable of interacting with other design professionals because we've got the same background and we understand better than anyone how to help translate your design vision into a real, completed home.
